Ravensteed Equestrain centre has a wide variety of agistment services available. outlined below are some of the more frequent services we have availabl. If however you have more specific requirements, please feel free to contact us.
Grazing
Ravensteed Equestrain centre offers some of the best on-site grazing available within the Christchurch area. Grazing is available for those horse owners wishing to take full responsibility for the care and well being of their horse.
Grazers have access to Ravensteed’s riding facilities (when not being used for lessons), yards, loose boxes, wash bay, round yard, tack sheds etc. Hay is fed out during cold/wet weather during winter. No mucking out is required as our paddocks are regularly harrowed.
We adhere to a strict worming program, regularly drenching all horses on the property at the same time.

Livery
We have a livery service available for people that are too busy to regularly exercise and care for their horse on a regular basis. Prices include hard feed and hay. Your horse will be checked on several times a day. Rugs will be changed according to the weather and if desired horses may be boxed when necessary at extra charge.

We offer training sessions for those times when you can not make it in to exercise the horse, these are charged out at $20 per session. This fee is on top of livery and grazing fees.
Equine massage & Saddle fitter
We have a certified Equine Body Worker (EBW) and saddle fitter onsite. Equine massage has an array of benefits for horse and owner. Massage therapy combines a variety of techniques promoting benefits such as improved range of motion, circulation, and reduced muscle tension. As a result massage therapy may reduce the possibility of injury and increase overall performance and stamina.
Polo
